Face Everything and Rise

Fear.  What do you think when you read that word?  Do you think of the acronym that titles this essay?  Does your stomach tighten and your breath catch in your throat?  Fear is a biological response to a dangerous situation.

Fear is a reaction that we can use to save us in life or death situations.  The next time you feel fear, ask yourself, is this a life or death situation?

In 2019 I left a successful, lucrative career as a nursing leader to open my own business.  Almost every hour of the day, I’m relaxed and calm about this decision.  Occasionally, I give in to fear.  That is my opportunity to check in and ask myself if starting my own business is a life or death situation.  I know this sounds silly and obvious, yet I’m guessing we have all had this experience – creating fear around a situation that has no power to threaten us.

I am going to accept that at times I will feel an irrational fear.  I’ve decided that rather than let the fear paralyze me, I’ll continue towards my goal.  Perhaps in 2020, we can decide to keep moving forward, rather than letting fear keep us from our dreams.

Is fear holding you back from what you desire?  I would love to be part of your journey as you identify and address any roadblocks to your success.  As a holistic life and career coach, my passion is to work with my clients and watch them live the life of their dreams.

Are you ready to Face Everything and Rise?

            Let’s do this!
