Getting Clear on Your Why

When asked what we do, we respond with our job, or job title.  For instance, we might say “I’m a nurse” or “I teach school.”  If I ask you why you do what you do, how would you respond?  Answering why should be as easy as answering what, yet I find that many people are uncertain of why they do what they do.

I own a business that focuses on improving wellbeing in all areas of a person’s life.  Why?  As a sentient being, I am committed to alleviating the suffering of all living creatures.  Thus, every action I take needs to align with my why.  This includes not only my career, but it also is reflected in what I do as I go about my day-to-day activities.

If you desire success, you must align your actions with your why.  I’ll ask again – what is your why?  A new year and a new decade are right around the corner, making this the perfect time to define your why and align your actions.  If you would like to continue this conversation, let’s connect!  As a coach, I help clients define their why and align their actions.  Find me at juliehoffmanwellness.com
